Show Short Notice Cancelled Services

Modified on Fri, 14 Oct 2022 at 04:26 PM

When a client cancels their service at short notice, your staff may become worried that one of their regular bookings has been missed off their schedule if it suddenly disappears!

This feature provides a way of controlling when or if cancelled services appear in the staff schedule after they have been cancelled at short notice.

Tip: You can also set this up to only show the cancelled services for a few days to keep your schedule as uncluttered as possible.

The available settings are:
  • 0 days (cancelled services are never shown)
  • 1 – 5 days  (cancelled services are shown in the client portal schedule and the staff services list when cancelled within x days of the service start date – where x can be from 1 to 5 days)
  • Always show cancelled services (cancelled services always show as cancelled)

What does "Show Cancelled Services in the Staff or Client Schedules For" mean?

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Schedule Settings > Options

  • Choose one of the available settings in the drop-down list.
  • Click "Update."

Example
With "Show Cancelled Services in Staff / Client Schedules" set to 5 days, a service cancelled up to 5 days before the service start date will show (as a cancelled service) in the staff services list in the dashboard when they select "My List View" or "My Coluumn View."

And the service will show (as a cancelled service) in the client portal schedule so the client is also reassured that the late cancellation has been received.
