In the Invoicing module you have the option to communicate with clients directly about their invoices, quotes and payment reminders. You can also receipt payments, download invoices and manage credit and debit notes.

Send Payment Reminders to Clients

Send payment reminders to clients with different Invoice types or billing cycles, the emails can be personalized and sent individually, or in batch, with a copy of the invoice and account summary attached.

To email a payment reminder from the unpaid invoices report:
  • Navigate to: Invoicing > Unpaid Invoices.
  • Sort the report by Invoice Type and enter the due date of the invoice on or before the date selected.
  • Select the checkbox in the header alongside "Start" for ALL clients, or select individual clients.
  • Select "Email."
  • Choose a standard template or use the blank message.
  • Select "Send Email."



Email Receipts to Clients in Bulk

Use the Unpaid Invoices Report to receipt payments received from non-Stripe methods, such as Venmo, direct bank transfer, cash or check. If a client pays in full, you can receipt many payments at once.

To send bulk receipts via the unpaid invoices report:
  • Navigate to: Invoicing > Unpaid Invoices.
  • Select a date. 
  • Sort the report by Client Name.
  • Select the checkbox in the header alongside "Client" for ALL clients, or select individual clients.
  • Select "Email."
  • Choose a standard template or use the blank message.
  • Select "Send Email."




Allocate a Payment

Invoices for client accounts with unallocated payments are noted with a red * and are highlighted in yellow on the Unpaid Invoices Report. The unallocated payments can be used to pay or partially-pay an invoice.

To allocate a payment from the unpaid invoices report:
  • Navigate to: Invoicing > Unpaid Invoices.
  • Select a date.
  • Sort the report by Client Name.
  • Select the Client name to access the Client Record.
  • Choose "Payments & Refunds" and "Unallocated Payments."
  • In the submenu on the left, select "Allocations."
  • Select how you want to allocate the payments, then click "Allocate These Amounts."
