Watch the video for a full explanation of how to set up your Admins.
Creating an Admin Role using Interface Permissions
Once you've granted admin rights to a staff member, you need to decide which areas of the software you want them to have access to.
Example Senior Administrator who is officed-based
A Senior Admin will probably need access to most areas including certain reports. However you might want to switch OFF some reports such as the Revenue & Tax, Staff Pay and Tips, and Expenses reports in the Interface Permissions.
You might also want to limit their access to some Admin functions and settings such as Staff, Payment Processors and Supporting Data.
See Example: Senior Admin Role Permissions to see our suggested access options. You may want to adjust these to suit your business with more or less access rights.
Example Junior Admin who is field-based, with limited scheduling access
A Junior Admin may be required to perform Scheduling tasks within the software with access to Client and Pet information, and that is all. If you don't want them to see any financial details on the Schedule or in the Client Account, you would need to switch OFF "Can See Financials."
You would want to limit what they can see in the Interface Permissions, including switching OFF the menu options for Invoices, Reporting, Admin etc.
See Example: Junior Admin Role Permissions to see our suggested access options. You may want to adjust these to suit your business with more access rights.
Note: As the business owner, you can restrict the levels of Admin access you grant, depending on whether the staff member has a senior or junior role.
