When a client requests services in the client portal, the company administrator receives an email, the client can receive an email, and you can email the primary sitter the service requests as well.
Tip: You can use this option to notify your independent contractors if they handle their own bookings.
Note: Only the primary sitter can be automatically BCC'd on a service request email. To email additional sitters once a client's request is received, see Emailing a Service Request.
How Can Primary Sitters Be Notified When a Client Requests Services in the Portal?
Navigation: Admin > Settings > Service Request Settings > General
- Toggle “BCC Service Requests to Primary Sitter” ON.
- Click "Update."
Tip: The email can be edited in the Service Request Sign Off. You can also completely disable the email notification.
Note: The email subject line contains the schedule ref (which is usually the pet name) and the account number. This makes it is easier to identify the correct service request email.
