When a client requests services online, you can configure automatically emails at different points in the request and scheduling process.
More About Service Requests
When clients use their Client Portal to request services online, they are not added to the live schedule until you review and approve the requests. The requests are added to the Service Requests Tab where you can view, edit, email and confirm services, then add them to the live Schedule. During the scheduling process, you can add Scheduling notes with details and communication.
The "Service Request" Email Confirmation
The Service Request Email Confirmation is sent at the time the client makes the request.
Who receives the service request confirmation email?
- The service request confirmation email is sent when "Submit Request" is clicked in the client portal. The email is sent to the client's email address on file. If an alternative contact email is on file and "copy emails to this address" is toggled ON, then this email is CC'd.
- This email is always sent to the company email listed in Company Information.
- You can disable this email.

The "Service Scheduled" Email Confirmation
The Service Scheduled Email Confirmation is sent at the time the services are scheduled.
Who receives the service scheduled confirmation email?
- The Service Request Scheduled confirmation email is sent when the request is Scheduled.
- The email is sent to the client's email address on file. If an alternative contact email is on file and "copy emails to this address" is toggled ON, then this email is CC'd.
- You can disable this email.
The "Service Request Cancelled" Email Confirmation
If a client cancels their request – BEFORE it has been scheduled – an email to both the client and admin confirms the requested services have been canceled.
Who receives the service request cancelled confirmation email?
- The Service Request Cancelled email is sent when "cancel" is clicked in the client portal.
- The email is sent to the client's email address on file. If an alternative contact email is on file and "copy emails to this address" is toggled ON, then this email is CC'd.
- This email is always sent to the company email listed in Company Information.
Tip: The service request emails can be edited in Add an Email Notification Sign off.
