Viewing Time Off Conflict in Planner

In additional to viewing Staff Time Off in the Time Off Report, Staff Time Off is also accessible in the Planner. Dates when staff are unavailable, are represented by a red dot.

Tip: Using Time Off is optional, but it is a very helpful scheduling tool allowing you to quickly see:
  • Which staff is available for a service.
  • If a staff that is unavailable has been scheduled work that needs to be reassigned.
  • How many staff are off at the same time.

More About Staff Time Off

"Time Off" allows Staff to request time off, an administrator can approve it and any services already scheduled to that sitter that now conflict with their time off are identified so they can be reassigned.  Additionally, if you attempt to schedule a sitter that has Time off for that date, you are alerted that the staff is unavailable.

There are Time Off indicators in the following locations:

How is Time Off Represented in the Planner?

Navigation: Scheduler > Schedule > Planner

  • Time Off is noted with a red dot to indicate staff who can not be scheduled services on those days.
  • If services have been assigned to staff with Time Off, the number of assigned services appears in red. Click on the number for the details of the services so that they can be re-assigned.
