Allow a client to pay using PayPal by setting a client's Payment Processor in their ADMIN settings to "PayPal." PayPal is an online money transfer system. Connect any standard PayPal account so clients can pay invoices using their PayPal balance, or a credit / debit card.
Tip: Some clients can use PayPal and others can use Stripe, depending on the client's preference. You can also set all clients to one Payment Processor Default: Stripe or PayPal.
Note: To add PayPal as a payment option, it needs to be enabled. If “PayPal” does not appear in your list of Payment Processors, contact us and we will enable it for you.
Accept PayPal Payments using your PayPal Payment Processor
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Client Admin > Settings
- Select Payment Method and set to “PayPal Standard.”
- Click “Update.”
Setting the Payment Processors to “PayPal Standard” means your client will have a “Pay with PayPal” button in the client portal.
Note: Clients do not need a PayPal account to pay using a credit / debit card.
