You may need to resend an invoice to a client if, for instance, they misplaced the original invoice email, or if they have not paid on time and you want to request payment again.
An invoice is a bill you send a client so they can pay you for their services. The Invoice lists itemized services and prices. The Account Summary shows all outstanding invoices on a client's account and a total amount due.
Note:
- A copy is sent to your admin email if the option to receive invoice copies is toggled ON.
- The subject in the email tells you that it is a "copy."
- Before sending, you can see the date "Last Sent" in the invoice "Details" panel to ensure you are not resending it too soon.
How Do I Resend an Invoice to a Client and Optionally Include an Account Summary?
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Orders & Invoices
Step 1
- Select an invoice by clicking the blue "Invoice No. XXX" link.
Step 2
- Click "Resend Invoice" from the sub menu on the left.
- Select the email template (if it's not pre-selected.)
- (Optional) Toggle "Include Account Summary" ON.
- Click "Resend Invoice."
