How to Enable or Disable the Support Widget

Our Support Widget is a helpful tool for Business owners and Administrators to quickly access and navigate our vast knowledge base from within your system. When enabled, the Support Widget it is accessible from every page at the bottom right corner of your screen. 

This means you do not need to leave Pet Sitter Plus to find all the help you need. Our knowledge base is packed full of updated help articles and is fully searchable. This will make it much easier and faster to find the answers that you need. 

How do I Enable or Disable the Support Widget?

Note: Enabling or Disabling the Support Widget is an Admin only feature. Business owners can decide to show the Support Widget and/or allow Administrators to enable/disable the feature within their own Staff Permissions.
Navigation: Admin > Settings > Company Settings

There are a few options regarding the visibility of our Support Widget. Initial set up requires the Business Owner to determine:

  • Option 1: Switch the Support Widget ON or OFF.
  • Option 2: Switch the Support Widget ON or OFF for Admin Staff on mobile devices.
  • Option 3: Switch the Support Widget ON and allow Administrators to decide if they wish to have the Widget visible (or not) on their mobile device.

Option 1

To show the Support Widget on the Admin Interface.

  • Toggle ON "Show Support Widget."
  • Click on "Update."

Option 2

To switch on the Support Widget for Admin Staff on ALL devices:

  • Toggle ON " Show Support Widget" and "Show Support Widget on Mobile."
  • Click "Update."

Option 3

To enable an Admin to switch ON or OFF the Support Widget on their mobile device:

  • Toggle ON "Show Support Widget"
  • Toggle OFF "Show Support Widget on Mobile."
  • Click "Update."

Enable Admins to switch the support widget on or off on their device in Dog Walking Software

  • Access an Admin Staff's record
  • Click on "Staff Permissions"
Navigation: Admin > Staff > select Admin Staff Name > Permissions > Interface Permissions 

  • Under Admin Permissions, toggle ON or OFF "Show Support Widget on Mobile"
  • Click "Update."

Allow Admin Staff to switch on or off the support widget on their mobile device in dog daycare software

Note: When the business owner toggles ON the "Support Widget" and/or "Show Support Widget on a Mobile Device", this sets the Company Default and this cannot be amended within Staff Permissions.

To view and/or amend the Company Default, click on the Edit icon.
