Nominal Duration for a Service Item

Modified on Fri, 28 Oct 2022 at 11:57 AM

In the Staff Activity Report, a notification for a "Short Service" is recorded which lets you know when a time-specific service – such as a 30-minute dog walk – has been cut short. for example, if the staff member checks-out before 30 minutes duration the "short service" notification will be triggered if you have included a time of "30" minutes in this setting.

IMPORTANT: This must be set on EVERY service that you wish to report on. If this parameter is not set for any service, it will NOT be recorded on the Staff Activity Report and the notification will NOT be triggered.

How do I Set a Service so it Triggers a Notification if it is Cut Short?

Navigation: Admin > Service Items > Select a Service > Timecard

  • Enter a time (in minutes) in the field "Nominal Service Duration (Minutes)", eg. 30 minutes.
  • Click "Update."

Enter duration of a service to stop a notification being triggered in dog walker software
