You can download a PDF of a Debit Note so you can print it, save an electronic copy or email it to a client.

More About Debit Notes

Debit notes are generated when invoiced services are increased in value or new services are added to an order. Debit notes are mostly used when you Invoice in advance of service delivery. They help you easily manage a client's account balance, allowing you to add additional services to an Invoice, instead of Voiding the Invoice and creating a new one. There is also a system for Credit Notes.

Tip: View the Credit/Debit Notes report for a full list of credit and debit notes that are not committed yet. This is useful to view prior to invoicing.

Note: The Debit Note is also part of the Invoice PDF, it follows the invoice on a separate page.

How Do I Download a PDF of a Debit Note?

Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Orders & Invoices

Step 1

From the Orders & Invoices screen, click the blue "Invoice No." to view the invoice.

Click "Credit/Debit Notes" from the left-side menu.
Click "Download PDF" to download it to your device.

Tip: The Debit Note displays whether it's committed or not. You can commit the Debit Note when you are viewing it. It needs to be committed to be applied to a client's account.
