You usually run Repeat services in the Scheduler for many clients at once, but you can also add repeat services for one client on a service order, if they maybe added a new repeat recently and the other repeats have already been run for the month.
Info: For example: If your client regularly orders a lunchtime walk for their dog each weekday, you will first create a "Repeat Service" template that holds those details. "Add Repeat" lets you choose a date range and one "Repeat Service" template to run for that date range. When you do so, the appropriate services are scheduled easily and reliably with only a few clicks.
Repeat services (once scheduled):
- Appear in service orders, quotes and invoices.
- Appear in the administrators schedule.
- Appear in the staff schedules.
- Appear in compensation reports.
More About Service Orders
A Service Order contains services a client has ordered, for a date range that will be invoiced together, such as one month of daily walks or a 2 week vacation. The services are simultaneously populated to the Schedule and are used to create an Invoice for the Client.
More About Repeat Services
Repeat Services schedules visits for all clients that have regularly recurring work at once. You can schedule visits for any time frame, such as weekly or monthly. When you do, you also create a Service Order for each client, that is ready for invoicing on your next billing cycle.
Note: You can run more than one Repeat Services Template in a Service Order, you just have to run them one at a time.
How Do I Add Repeat Services to a Service Order?
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Orders & Invoices
Tip: Before this process, make sure you already created the Repeat Service template for the client. See Adding a New Repeat Service.
Step 1
- Open or Create a New Service Order.
- Click "Add Repeats."
Step 2
- In the pop-up, enter the date range you want to schedule repeat services for.
- Select the repeat service(s) to run. Clients can have multiple repeat templates on their account.
- Click "Add."
Tip: In the future, you could Schedule Repeat Services for this client (along with all of your Repeat Services clients ) as part of your monthly admin tasks to make adding these services even easier.
