Email Options

Use Staff's Email Address

When Clients reply to your emails, you can set it so these email replies are sent to different email addresses. It is designed for larger businesses that operate departments run by different staff members.

  • Example: If your business has a billing department that is run independent of your scheduling department, or if your business has a walking department that is run independent of your boarding department, when you switch "Use Staff's Email Address" to ON, replies to emails come back to the specific staff member who sent the email (instead of to the company reply-to email address).
  • When "Use Staff's Email Address" is switched ON, it applies to pet care staff as well. So the Staff member that sends a Service Report will receive the response if a client replies to the email.

Set to Use Staff's Email Address:
  • Navigate to: Admin > Settings > Email Settings > Email Options.
  • Slide the option to ON.
  • Click "Update."

BCC All Direct Emails To Company

This setting sends a copy of all emails sent from PSP to the company email address.
  • Enables you to keep an exact copy of emails sent to your clients – a useful tool if you need to have proof at a later date that a communication was sent to a client.
  • Allows emails to be routed and stored in an email directory also providing useful evidence that emails were delivered to your email provider's SMTP gateway.

Set to BCC All Direct Emails To Company:
  • Navigate to: Admin > Settings > Email Settings > Email Options.
  • Slide the option to ON.
  • Click "Update."

Set to Configure Google Email:
  • Navigate to: Connect > Email Settings > Connect Your Email
  • Select "Google."

Only Use For Direct Emails

  • This setting helps to ensure that emails containing quotes and invoices stand a much higher chance of being received by your clients than if they had been sent via SMTP or Google.
  • The emails you DO send via SMTP or Google stand a higher chance of being received by your clients.
It is recommended that you switch ON "Only Use for Direct Emails". This means that Pet Sitter Plus will automatically route emails through the most appropriate channel depending on the nature of the email.

Set to Only Use For Direct Emails:
  • Navigate to: Connect > Email Settings > Connect Your Email
  • Slide the option to ON.
