Getting Started Introducing My Staff to Pet Sitter Plus: Getting your staff up and running quickly is easy. The interface is intuitive, easy to use and staff can access their schedule, pay and time off.


1. Send Welcome Email to Staff

  • Staff can create a password using your database and their email address or staff number. Use this email Welcome Letter to invite staff to create their log-in and explain their staff access.

I am pleased to introduce you to our software, Pet Sitter Plus and invite you to login following the instructions below.


Pet Sitter Plus works with any browser. The link that you use to access Pet Sitter Plus is the same on any device (PC, MAC, tablet, iPad, mobile phone)


To get logged into our system, please follow these simple instructions:


  1. Click or tap on this link here {COMPANY_URL}
  2. Your login email is {RECIPIENT_STAFF_EMAIL} and your login account number is {RECIPIENT_STAFF_ACCOUNT_NUMBER}, you can use either to create a password to get logged into Pet Sitter Plus.
  3. Choose the "Set / Reset" password option and follow the instructions to set your own password.
  4. Once you have set up your password, you can login and start using the system.


Once logged in you'll be able to:


Schedule / Services

  • View your schedule
  • Acknowledge your services for the day. (There is a green Acknowledge All button to acknowledge all your services for the current day - Note, you can only acknowledge a service on the day the service is scheduled, not beforehand) 
  • Use the GPS Check-in/Check-out function. (When prompted, click on "Allow" to enable your system to use your current location). 
  • Send a Service Report to the client to relay information about the service and their pet(s)
  • Mark a service as Completed (Note: when using the GPS Check-out function, services may be marked as completed automatically) 


Administrative Functions

  • Request time off 
  • View your Staff Pay Report
  • Update your Staff data (address, phone, etc.)  

 

You can create a PSP icon (shortcut) for your phone's home screen for quick and easy access:

2. Using the Staff Dashboard

In the Staff Dashboard, staff manage their work and personal information, such as:
  • View assigned services
  • Review Client Information they have permission to access
  • Check-In and Out of Visits and Send Service Reports
  • Access Compensation details
  • Request time off
  • Update personal details in their Staff Record

As an Admin, view your Staff's Dashboard:
  • Open their Staff Record and select "Staff Interface."

Once you are viewing the staff's interface, a banner across the top of the screen tells you whose dashboard you are looking at:
