Online Booking allows your client to place an order by requesting Services within their Portal.
- You can choose whether to make Online Booking – or the "Request Services" feature – available to your clients or not on a system-wide basis. If you do make online booking available in your portal, then it will be available to ALL clients who have access to the portal.
- You can choose which services your clients are able to request from the portal - for example you may want them to be able to request a dog walk or home visit but not an overnight service.
- When your clients request a service from the portal, it is a request only - it will NOT be scheduled in Pet Sitter Plus until you take action to do so. This gives you the opportunity to review the request and ensure it is assigned to the appropriate staff member for the work before saving it to your Schedule and confirming acceptance to your client.

Can I allow Clients to place orders online for certain services?
Navigate to Admin > Settings > Service Request Settings
Step 1
Note: The ability for clients to make online bookings and request services is by default switched ON in your client portal settings. If, for some reason, this option has been switched OFF, you will need to turn it ON again it if you would like to offer this option.
- Look at the option to "Allow clients to request services."
- If this box is switched OFF, turn it ON again.
- Click "Update."
When you now go into the client portal, the option to request a service from a client's schedule is now available.
Step 2
Navigate to Admin > Service Items > click on a Service > Advanced
Secondly, you need to identify which of your service items you want to appear on the list your client sees when requesting a service from the portal.
- Click on the service item you wish to make available.
- Click the "Advanced" sub menu.
- Switch ON the option for "Show in Portal."
- Click "Update."
Follow this procedure for every service item you want clients to be able to book online through the portal.
When these settings are correct, you will see the service appear in the dropdown list so a client can "request a service" in the portal.
