How to mass email some or all of your clients

Modified on Wed, 23 Nov, 2022 at 6:28 PM

Important: To send mass emails from Pet Sitter Plus you must first integrate your personal or business email account with Pet Sitter Plus using SMTP. To do this please read all the notes on SMTP in this section here.

You can email clients from the client search screen or the Schedule if you are using Custom SMTP

If Custom SMTP is set up and correctly connected, there is a checkbox to the left of each client and an "Email" button above the checkbox column. Email all clients, certain clients or filter your client list.

How do I send mass/bulk emails to some or all of my Clients?

Navigation: Clients

  • Click the Clients icon on the main menu.
  • With nothing in the search box, click the Go button (with the magnifying glass) to the right of the search box. This will give you a full list of your clients.
  • Select the All checkbox above the list of clients. This will select all of your active clients.
  • With all clients selected click the email button.

Select All Clients and mass email in Pet Sitting Software

  • Select an Email Template from the drop-down or write an email from scratch. Existing templates can also be modified “on the fly” before sending the email by adding, changing, or deleting the text that appears in the Email Body box.

Note: When modifying the text of an existing template in the Email Body, be careful that Merge Codes are not accidentally deleted. Merge Codes beginning with the word CLIENT are designed to automatically insert each client's individual information in the email they receive (Example:  {CLIENT_FIRST_NAME} inserts each client's first name at the beginning of the email they receive.)

Tip: If the Blank email template is used, Merge Codes will insert each client's first name at the start of the email and your company's contact information at the end.
