Assign to Order Drop Down Default

When service requests are received from the client portal, the requests are held on the Service Requests page waiting for you to approve them. Then once you schedule the requests, they become scheduled services in a service order on the client's Orders & Invoices page. 


Some services should be associated with different service orders so they are invoiced separately. 


Businesses have differing requirements when assigning a service request to a new or existing service order. Boarding or Cat Sitting services very often require a “New Order” and would therefore prefer the new order option to appear at the top of the order dropdown list,  whereas Daycare/Walking services may require the latest service order. 


Default options can be set in Service Request Advanced settings to determine how the order drop down is displayed when you are processing service requests, these options are:

  • New Order top - Chronologically youngest
  • New Order top - Chronologically oldest
  • Chronologically youngest – New Order bottom
  • Chronologically oldest – New Order bottom

 

How do I sort the Assign to Order dropdown when processing service requests?

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Service Requests > Advanced


  • Click on "Assign to Order Drop Down Default."
  • Select the preferred sort order
  • Click "Update."
