Show Vaccination Flags in the Planners

IMPORTANT:  New versions of the Staff and Group Planners are out now, both with additional functionality 

To start using and configure the new Staff and Group Planners, please read Understanding The Group Planner and Understanding the Staff Planner. For existing users of the Staff Planner, Transitioning over from the existing Staff Planner to the Group Planner. 

The Staff and Group Planners can be set up to display the following:
Color Coding to easily identify when Staff/Sitters have reached,  or are over capacity.
Check-in and Check-out directly from the Planner
Direct access to Client accounts from the Planner
Vaccination flags

The Group Planner can also display the following:
Company Level Capacity for Service Item Groups
Staff Level Capacity for Service Item Groups

About Vaccination Flags

Vaccination flags are a useful visual indicator for Admins and Business owners to check on a Pets current vaccination status through both the Service Request Processing page and in the Planner.

Tip: To show Vaccination Flags in both the Service Request Screen and the Planner, you first have to enable Vaccination Flags in a Service Item. 

Case use

Vaccination Flags for pets tend to be used for services where a vaccination is mandated such as boarding or daycare. However, many businesses simply wish to record vaccination details for the protection of their pets and their staff.

The below image shows that some pets are up to date with their vaccinations, whereas others do not have any vaccinations registered or they have expired.

How Do I Enable Vaccination Flags in The Planners?

Prior to enabling Vaccination Flags in the Planner, you first have to enable Vaccination Flags on your system and identify which Services require a vaccination. Please read the following articles and follow the steps to enable Vaccination Flags on your system:

Step 2 - Enable Vaccination Flags in the Planner

Now Vaccination Flags are enabled on your system and for your required Service Items, you can now choose to enable or disable Vaccination Flags to be displayed in your Planner.

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Planner Settings > General

• Toggle ON "Show Vaccination Status."
• Click "Update."

Vaccination flags will now be enabled in your Planners and will be displayed when you drill into a service count from either the Group or Staff Planner View.
