Show Check-in/Check-out Data
If you provide services such as group dog walking or vacation boarding, check-in and check-out times may not be relevant. In that case you may wish to "show" check-in and out times. To show the Check-in/Check-out Data:
Show Event Notifications in the Dashboard
If you do not want staff to know you have activity details in the Staff Activity Report, you wouldn't want them notified at the same time as you are if they are late to check-in or out, provide a short service, or check-in or out at a location which is not the client's home. In that case you would chose to hide the check-in exceptions. To hide the Check-in Exceptions:
Show the Countdown for Remaining Visit Time
If you provide group dog walking, you may not need a visit countdown time. It is helpful for services where the sitter should stay a minimum time, such as a 30-minute home visit. To show the Visit Time Remaining:
Allow Staff from Editing their Work Time
If you have junior staff members who should not be able to edit their work start or end time, you will probably want to switch this option OFF. To allow Shift Editing:
Acknowledge on Check-in
If you use Check-in and Check-out, you may want to link the Acknowledge button to Check-in, so when a staff member "checks-in", the Acknowledge badge illuminates. This function saves your staff from having to click too many options every visit. Note: Alternatively, if your staff prefer to "acknowledge" all their services at the start of the day, you may not want to use this function. To set the dashboard to Acknowledge on Check-in:
Hide the Acknowledge Button
If you use the Acknowledge on Check-in function mentioned above, you may wish to hide the Acknowledge button, so that Checking-in creates a real-time notification on the schedule. To set the dashboard to Hide the Acknowledge button:
Complete on Check-out
If you use Check-in and Check-out, you may want to link the Complete button on Check-out, so when a staff member "checks-out", the Complete badge illuminates. This function saves your staff from having to click too many options every visit. To set the dashboard to Complete on Check-out:
Hide the Complete Button
If you use the Complete on Check-out function mentioned above, you may wish to hide the Complete button, so that Checking-in creates a real-time notification on the schedule. To set the dashboard to Acknowledge on Check-in:
Show the Client Schedule to Staff
When you show the Client Schedule, the staff member can see other visits that they are not assigned, but that are still part of the service Order. To Show the Client Schedule:
Show Timecard Export
For staff who are hourly paid for their work – whether they are employed or are independent contractors – this option will enable them to see the hours they've worked in their Staff Dashboard. IC's can use this data to invoice you for their time. To Show the Timecard Export:
