You may want to delete a client if they no longer use your services, or if you created a duplicate account.
Tip: You can only delete a client with no financial history. If a client has any service history, an invoice (even if voided), or a receipt/payment, there is no delete button as you can not delete the client account. If you want to remove the client from the client list, you can make the client "Inactive."
How Do I Delete a Client Account?
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Client Admin > Settings
- Click "Client Admin" in the navigation pane.
- Click "Settings" from the sub menu.
- Click "Delete." "Are you sure?" appears. Click "Delete" to confirm, or "Cancel."
Note: There is no Delete button if the client has a financial history. You can make the client "Inactive" instead.
