You can edit a Service Request before scheduling it. A Service Request is a request for services, made through the client portal that you need to Schedule or Decline.
Tip: You may need to edit a service for various reasons before scheduling it, such as if your client made a mistake and selected the wrong time, you may have to add a Pick Up or Drop Off to a Daycare service, or if a staff is unavailable, you can assign a different sitter.

Step 1
- Select the service requests to edit by selecting the checkbox next to the service.

- Click "Update."
How Do I Delete a Service Request?
- Select the service requests to edit by selecting the checkbox next to the service.
- Click “Delete.”
- A Confirmation appears: "Are you sure?" Click "Delete" to confirm; click "Cancel" to return to the service request screen.
- Deleted requests are removed completely, to re-instate them, use "Add Requests."
Important: Deleting a service request DOES NOT generate an automatic email to the client. To send an email notifying the client, follow the Decline a Service Request process.
Tip: You can also view and edit client service requests from Scheduler > Service Requests. See How do I Edit a Service Request? If duplicated Service Requests are a problem for your business, switching on notify admins of potential scheduling conflicts in Advanced Service Request settings will help to reduce this issue by providing warnings to admins of potential duplicates.
