Client Records can have as many Pets as needed. Each Pet record can have a vet selected. You manage the list of vets to make it easier to maintain a clean list of vets in the dropdown menu.
Note: If you have created duplicate entries in your vet database, there is a utility in this section for consolidating vet records and removing duplicates

How Do I Add a Vet?
Navigation: Admin > Supporting Data > Vets
- Click on "+ Add New."
- Enter a name for your new Vet.
- Click “Add New Vet.”
- Add the Vet's address and phone number.
- Click "Update."
Note: You can add additional fields to a Vet Record, for example, an out of hours phone number. To do this navigate to Admin > Custom Fields > Vets > Custom > Details, then follow the instructions for Adding a Field in Custom Fields.
How Do I Edit a Vet?
Navigate to Admin > Supporting Data > Vets
- Click on the vet to edit.
- Make edits and click "Update."
Navigate to Admin > Supporting Data > Vets
- Click the Vet you want to delete.
- Choose "Maintenance" from the menu.
- Click "Delete." Then Confirm.
Note: "Delete" is only available when the Vet is not associated with any pet records. If the Vet IS associated with pet records, to delete it, refer to Where can I Delete Unwanted or Duplicated Vets?
