Filtering the Schedule

In addition to Date, you can filter your schedule using a number of additional, useful filters, such as:
  • View "First Service Only" service items on an order, indicating a new service is starting that day.
  • View one staff member's schedule.
  • View only service Items from one Service Group such as Pet Sitting.
  • View clients from one Client Area with services this week.
  • Use one or more filters at a time to view the subset of services you want to review.
  • Once you filter your schedule, select the checkbox in front of all services then use the Email button to email those clients.

Scheduled Services (Default Filter)

The default view of the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View) shows "Scheduled & Completed Services" which specifically excludes cancelled & voided services.

This is the default view of any variant of the schedule.
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.

All Services in the Schedule

You can apply a filter to view "All Services" in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View) which will then include;
  • Scheduled & Completed services
  • Cancelled services
  • Void services

To view "All Services" in your Schedule
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select "All Services" from the first dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Cancelled Services Only

You can apply a filter to view Canceled Services in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View). 

To view "Cancelled Services Only" in your Schedule
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select "Cancelled Services Only" from the first dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Void Services Only

You can apply a filter to view Void Services Only in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View).  

To view "Void Services Only" in your Schedule
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select "Void Services Only" from the first dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

First Service Only or Last Service Only

Viewing the "First Service Only" or the "Last Service Only" in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View) displays the first visit or the last visit of any given series of visits such as a two week vacation reservation. This is helpful as it highlights where you might need to perform additional tasks that are typically associated with first and last visits such as additional reporting and key handovers. 

To view "First Services Only or Last Services Only" in your Schedule
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select "First Service Only" or "Last Service Only" from the first dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Services Requiring Keys

You can apply a filter to view Services Requiring Keys in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View). This is helpful to plan key transfers in advance so all staff have the items they need to do their work. 

To view "Services Requiring Keys" in your Schedule
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select "Services Requiring Keys" from the first dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Filter by Staff Member

You can apply a filter to view one staff member in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View). This is helpful as the ability to focus on one staff member is essential when trying to optimize scheduling runs. 

To view the schedule for one member of Staff
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select the required staff member from "All Staff" which is the second dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Filter by Staff Area

You can apply a filter to view one Staff Area in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View). This is helpful when a staff member unexpectedly becomes unavailable on any given day and their services needs to be reassigned to staff operating in the same area. 

To view the schedule for one Staff Area
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select the required Staff Area from "All Staff Areas" which is the third dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Filter by Client Area

To view the Schedule by Client Area you can filter the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View). This is a helpful when you need to identify staff members that might be traveling too far to visit a client and where you can make more efficient service routes for staff members. 

To view the schedule for one Client Area
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select the required Client Area from "All Client Areas" which is the fourth dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Filter by Service Item Group

You can filter the Schedule by any one Service Item Group (i.e. all dog walks) in the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View).

To view the schedule for one Service Item Group
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • Select the required Service Item Group from "All Item Groups" which is the fifth dropdown on the top line of filter controls in the schedule.

Show and Hide Detail

When you are viewing the Admin Schedule (List/Column or Compact View), it is sometimes helpful to see more or less information depending on the scheduling task you are undertaking.

To switch between the three available levels of detail in the Schedule 
  • Select Schedule (List View, Column View or Compact View) from the menu.
  • use the + and - controls (top right hand side) to control detail level.
