When hiring a new staff member, you can easily invite them to access Pet Sitter Plus by sending a 'Welcome Email' from their Staff Record. You can create a standard Email Template welcoming all new staff to access their Staff Dashboard for the first time.
How do I create an Email Template to welcome New Staff?
Navigation: Admin > Supporting Data > Email Templates
Step 1
- Click "New."
- Enter a name for your new email template.
- Click “Add New Email Template."
Step 2
- Copy the following example text to create the body of your New Staff Welcome / Login Email. Without removing Merge Codes, you can edit the content of this template to suit your business.
Hi {RECIPIENT_STAFF_FIRST_NAME} Welcome to {COMPANY_NAME} I am pleased to introduce you to our software, Pet Sitter Plus, and invite you to log in following the instructions below. Pet Sitter Plus works with any browser. The link that you use to access Pet Sitter Plus is the same on any device (PC, MAC, tablet, iPad, mobile phone) To get logged into our system, please follow these simple instructions:

Step 3
- Paste the above narrative the email content of your template.
- Click "Update."
Your "STAFF - New Staff Welcome / Login Email" template has now been saved and can be used to email to your new staff member via their Staff Record.
