View My Required Keys

From the Staff Dashboard, staff can view My Required Keys, to display keys they will need to perform their assigned services scheduled for the next few days. The list shows keys that are either "unassigned" (still with Admin) or assigned to another staff member. 

From My Required Keys, staff can:
  • view keys they need to perform their assigned services
  • re-assign key(s) from other staff to themselves
  • return the key(s) to the office Admin
  • view key log
  • edit key details


Note: Staff permissions to return and assign keys must be enabled.


How Do I View My Required Keys?

Navigation: Scheduler > Key Management

Step 1

  • From the Dashboard, click the "Hamburger" menu   tap the Scheduler icon, then "Key Management."
  • Tap "My Required Keys."

Note: These keys are shown in red on the Schedule.

Step 2

The list displays: date of service, client reference, area, key name and key reference if used.
  • Tap on the client to view client details, and edit (if enabled.)
  • Tap on the key / ref to view key details, and edit (if enabled.)

How Do I Assign a Key to Myself?

  • Keys that can be assigned are show in green, and these are assumed to be physically at the office "unassigned."
  • To assign the key, click "Assign Key."

How Do I Re-Assign a Key to Myself that is Already Assigned to another Staff Member?

  • Keys that can be assigned are show in red are assumed to be physically in another sitter's possession so you will need to make arrangements to meet that sitter so they can hand over the key to you.
  • To assign the key from that sitter, click "Assign Key."

  • The re-assigned key is no longer in "My Required Keys" and is now in "My Key List." It has also changed colour to green.
