From any client service, staff can view the list of client keys for access to the home, as well as assign and return keys. It is similar to the Admin Key Management report in Scheduling (How Do I View a List of All Issued Keys?).
Tip: Key management shows key assignments, bearing in mind that the physical keys need to be transferred at the time of digitally assigning them.
Note: Staff can use Key Management to view a list of all assigned keys and a list of all Required Keys.
How Do I Assign or Return Keys from the Key Tab in My Services?
Navigation: My Dashboard > My Services
Step 1
- After opening a specific service, tap the Keys Tab to view keys that are needed for the service.
- A red key means the sitter needs to be assigned the key, both digitally and physically.
- If the key is available to be assigned, tap the "Assign" button.
Note: Staff permissions to return and assign keys must be enabled.
Step 2
- A green key indicates that the sitter has already been assigned the key.
- Once the service is complete, tap the "Return" button to give the key back to Admin (digitally as well as physically.)
Step 3
However, it may be the key has previously been assigned to another sitter who has NOT returned it, so the "Assign" button is not displayed.
This will be indicated by a red key, and the key will need to be returned by the previous sitter first, so it can be re-assigned to the current sitter in order to be able to perform the service.
