Location maps for your staff home address will be used in conjunction with the client record, so it is important that the address is accurate. You may choose to input longitude and latitude co-ordinates instead, which is even more accurate.
Note: This is an important function in Pet Sitter Plus, as when you view the client location map you will be able to see how close the staff live in relation to the client's home address.
Also, the system uses the staff address to show their home location on the staff map if a staff member wants directions to another staff's home.
Can I See the Staff Home Location on the Client Map?
Navigation: Admin > Staff > select Staff Name > Staff Details > Location
Step 1
The map should automatically load if the staff has their address in their record. If not:
- Check that the staff member's correct address has appeared in the panel across the top of the map screen, and then click "Search." If it hasn't appeared in the panel, you can simply type it in.
- If you have a more accurate record of the longitude and latitude co-ordinates, you can type these into the search panel, but this is not necessary.
- If it looks correct, click "Update."
Step 2
Navigation: Clients > choose a client record > Client Data > Location
You can now see where the staff live in relation to the client's home address which may assist you in selecting a staff member to assign a service to.
