When you want to stop providing a particular service, the Active/Inactive option is useful (if you are unable to "delete" a service).
Tip: Making a Service Item "Inactive" hides it from the list of available service items. It also removes it from the Portal so clients can't request it.
Note: Deleting a service may not be an option if the service has previously been scheduled, so you need to make it "Inactive" instead.
What is a Service Item? A Service Item is a description and price for a service, such as a dog walk. Service Items are set for a time and date and then are assigned to a staff member to create the schedule. Service items appear on your Schedule, Service Orders, and Invoices. |
How do I make a Service Inactive?
Navigation: Admin > Services > select a service > Advanced
Step 1
- Click on the service item to edit.
- Click "Advanced" from the menu.
Step 2
- Toggle "Active" to "OFF."
- Click "Update."
Tip: If you want to reinstate an inactive service, you can make it "Active" again by simply toggling the switch to ON..
