Connecting Pet Sitter Plus to QuickBooks Online provides a seamless sync of all financial client transactions directly into your QuickBooks Online account.
The integration copies data such as client information, itemized invoices and associated payments from Pet Sitter Plus to QuickBooks. Pet Sitter Plus is therefore perfect for clients who want to save time and money by having their QuickBooks Online account automatically updated.
Important:
- The integration is “one way only." When Pet Sitter Plus is synced with QuickBooks Online, data such as client information, itemized invoices and associated payments are copied from Pet Sitter Plus to QuickBooks, not the other way around.
- Financial transactions can be synced as far back in time as required in batches of 300 from the chronologically oldest sync date.
- Pet Sitter Plus can only be connected to one QuickBooks Online Integration. If you want to disconnect a QuickBooks online integration and reconnect to a different QuickBooks instance, you will need to Contact Support.
- Pet Sitter Plus can only integrate with QuickBooks Online Plans for Essentials, Plus and Advanced. The Self Employed and Simple Start Plans will not be able to Integrate with Pet Sitter Plus.
- Invoices with a zero value are automatically excluded from syncing with QuickBooks Online due to there being no financial information on the invoices.
How do I enable an Admin to connect to QuickBooks Online?
Important: Only Staff with Admin permissions can connect to QuickBooks Online.
Admin staff must have “Accounting Systems” enabled on their “Interface permissions” menu to connect to QuickBooks Online.
Navigation: Admin > Staff > Interface Permissions
- Switch ON "Accounting Systems"
- Click "Update."
How do I Connect to QuickBooks Online?
Navigation: Connect > Accounting Systems > QuickBooks
Step 1
- Click on "Connect to QuickBooks."
Step 2
- Sign into your QuickBooks Online Account
Step 3
From the "Search for a Company" drop down menu, select your QuickBooks Online Account name.
- Click "Next."
Step 4
- Read connectivity statement, including clicking on "Show details about data."
- Click "Connect."
- When connected, the following message confirming a successful connection will be displayed:
- Your QuickBooks connection page will then be ready to commence your first sync process and you should read our Help article Sync your transactions with QuickBooks for what to do next.
