Hide a Service Item in the Schedule

You can have a service that shows on the client's invoice but doesn't appear on the schedule. For example, if you charge a mileage fee, you would want to show the dog walk on the schedule, but want the mileage fee to only appear on the client's invoice.

Tip: If you set a service to be Hidden from the Schedule, you may want to set it to not trigger the billing cycle. For example, this is useful if your hidden service is a Meet & Greet that could happen some time before the client's first scheduled services.

What is a Service Item?
A Service Item is a description and price for a service, such as a dog walk. Service Items are set for a time and date and then are assigned to a staff member to create the schedule. Service items appear on your Schedule, Service Orders, and Invoices.

How Do I Hide a Service Item in the Schedule?

Navigation: Admin > Services > Select a Service > Advanced

Step 1

  • Click on the service item to edit.
Select the service item you wish to edit in your pet sitting software

Step 2

  • Click "Advanced".
  • Toggle "Hide in All Schedules" to "ON."
  • Click "Update."


Set your service so it will not show in the schedule in dog walker software
