Reconcile Invoices with QuickBooks in Pet Sitter Plus

There are a number of reports that can be produced in Pet Sitter Plus to keep track of revenue coming into your business, such as the Revenue & Tax reports for invoices produced and/or payments received. These reports can help support important strategic developments and forward planning for your business to sustain growth and further development. Complementary to this, with our QuickBooks Integration, a further suite of Accountancy reports are available for you on demand.


Note: Sales Tax for QuickBooks Online in the USA is highly automated. Tax calculations are based on a number of factors, primarily geographical location. QuickBooks Online in the USA has the rates of sales tax “programmed in” and will calculate the rate of tax automatically. Sales Tax settings in Pet Sitter Plus are fixed and determined by the business owner. Therefore, this could affect the outcome of any reconciliation between systems.


How do I Reconcile my Revenue produced in Pet Sitter Plus against QuickBooks Online?


Reconciliation of your financial transactions created in Pet Sitter Plus with your QuickBooks Online account, can be easily carried out by comparing your Invoice lists in both Pet Sitter Plus and QuickBooks:


Step 1

Navigation: Invoicing > Invoice List


  • Click on your Invoice List.
  • Enter the date period you are looking to report on.
  • Click Reload.
  • Click CSV to download the report onto your device.

  • Create a total for the Gross Amount (Column D).

Step 2

Navigation: QuickBooks Online > Reports > Invoice List


  • Click on Reports.
  • Scroll down the list of reports to find Invoice List.

  • Click On "This Month" and select the date period you are looking to reconcile.

  • Click on "Export/Print" and export into Excel or CSV format.

  • Once the Invoice Report has been exported onto your device, format the excel sheet to show the Total Amount.



You can now compare the totals from your Pet Sitter Plus Invoice Report with your QuickBooks Online Invoice Report to ensure they reconcile. If you find any inconsistencies please read My Pet Sitter Plus Account Does Not Balance With QuickBooks and/or contact our Support team.
