Some services – such as a Meet & Greet – do not require a key to perform the service, therefore, you would not want the "key required" alert on the Schedule or on the "Services Requiring Keys" report.
Note: The key icons on services for today and into the future that require a key are either green (meaning the key is already assigned to the staff performing the service) or red (meaning the key is NOT yet assigned to the staff performing the service). A key is black on a service that is in the past. If there is no key, then a key is not required for that client.
What is a Service Item? A Service Item is a description and price for a service, such as a dog walk. Service Items are set for a time and date and then are assigned to a staff member to create the schedule. Service items appear on your Schedule, Service Orders, and Invoices. |
How do I Prevent a Key from Displaying as "Required?"
Navigation: Admin > Services > Select a Service > Advanced
Step 1
- Click on the service item to edit.
Step 2
- Click "Advanced."
- Toggle "Key Required" to "OFF."
- Click "Update."
